EMILYs List Endorses Four Women for Chicago City Offices

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed four women for Chicago city offices: Melissa Conyears-Ervin for city treasurer, Anna Valencia for city clerk, Aida Flores for alderman (Ward 25), and Samantha Nugent for alderman (Ward 39). Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:

“Municipal leaders have a tremendous impact on residents’ everyday lives, and these four women are prepared to move Chicago forward. In a city and state known for being home to ‘political machines,’ these candidates are running on the strength of their own merit and experience. EMILYs List is proud to support each of these impressive women in their races to serve the city of Chicago.”
