EMILYs List Congratulates Jennifer Wexton on Her Victory in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulated EMILYs List candidate Jennifer Wexton on being elected to represent Virginia’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House. “Tonight, the voters of Virginia’s 10th District chose an experienced pro-choice Democratic advocate who will fight for working families over an out-of-touch Republican incumbent who has shown that she will always put partisanship over people. Jennifer Wexton has served her community for years and in the state Senate, she reached across the aisle to pass legislation that supported the women and families of Virginia. EMILYs List is thrilled to congratulate Jennifer, who flipped this district and will undoubtedly be an effective champion for Virginia’s 10th District in Congress.”
