In the Iowa state Legislature, Lindsay earned a reputation as a bridge-builder and an unwavering defender of Iowa families. She co-founded Iowa’s first bipartisan, bicameral caucus, breaking down barriers between Republicans and Democrats to solve real problems. She fought to expand access to affordable insulin, protect mobile home residents from predatory corporate landlords, and champion affordable housing and mental health care for communities across the state. Whether reaching across the aisle to pass bipartisan solutions or standing firm against extremist attacks on Iowa’s values, Lindsay has never forgotten who she works for.
