A Navy Veteran and Mom Answering the Call to Serve

Rebecca Bennett has spent her life running toward challenges. A former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, Air National Guard officer, healthcare business leader, and mother of two, Rebecca has always believed that service means stepping up when people are counting on you. Raised in a small town where service and community were core values, Rebecca earned an ROTC scholarship to study chemical engineering at Cornell University before pursuing her dream of becoming a Navy pilot. Rebecca graduated flight school at the top of her class and went on to become the number one pilot in each of her squadrons. She was later selected as the only MH-60S helicopter pilot in her class to attend the prestigious U.S. Naval Test Pilot School.

With over 15 years of naval experience, Rebecca served as a helicopter pilot, experimental test pilot, aircraft commander, and member of the Air National Guard. Her career was defined by discipline, leadership, and a commitment to protecting others — values that continue to guide her today.

Continuing a Mission of Service Through Healthcare

Even while serving her country, Rebecca was already preparing for her next chapter of service. Using the GI Bill, she earned her MBA from The Wharton School and later transitioned into healthcare leadership after leaving active duty. In healthcare, Rebecca worked across startups and Fortune 50 companies with one goal in mind: to improve people’s lives. Her work has focused on expanding access to care, lowering costs for patients, and helping deliver better health outcomes for families. Whether in uniform or in business, Rebecca has always been motivated by the same principle — making the country stronger and creating opportunities for people to thrive.

Rebecca is running for Congress because she believes Americans deserve leaders who put service above politics and solutions above division. She understands the importance of teamwork, steady leadership, and doing hard things — lessons she learned both in the cockpit and throughout her career.

A New Chapter of Service for NJ-07

Rebecca Bennett is running in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, a seat currently held by Trump-endorsed Rep. Tom Kean, Jr.  New Jerseyeans deserve a leader who will consistently show up for them in Washington, fight to lower costs, and protect them against Trump’s harmful policies. Rebecca has dedicated her life to serving others and this country.
