Senior Leadership

Denise Feriozzi is the Political Director at EMILY’s List, leading efforts to recruit, train and elect pro-choice Democratic women at the state & local level, strengthening our partnerships with progressive groups and the state and national level, directing the WOMEN VOTE! project and overseeing research on women’s leadership and political participation.  

 

This is Denise's fourth tour of duty at EMILY's List. She served as the WOMEN VOTE! Director from 2010 through 2012, Deputy WOMEN VOTE! Director in 2008, and helped run the Campaign Corps training program during the 2004 cycle. Prior to returning to EMILY’s List, Denise worked for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, serving as Iowa Caucus Field Director, and was on the ground in Nevada, Ohio and Wisconsin. Denise has also worked on independent and issue campaigns for the Democratic Governors' Association, Communities for Quality Education and Americans United to Protect Social Security. Denise got her start in politics working as a Field Organizer for Senator Tim Johnson’s 2002 reelection effort in South Dakota (defeating John Thune by a mere 524 votes statewide) and Senator Mary Landrieu’s runoff in Louisiana.

 

Denise is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia and a proud native of the great state of New Jersey. She loves free time, Mexican food, regional dialects and conference calls.
