The War on Women: Day by Day
The Republican War on Women is dominating the news this election cycle, but it's also dominating the Congressional calendar. Over the last 19 months, Republican Members of Congress have relentlessly tried to restrict women’s rights, access to basic health care, and economic equity. During the 46 weeks Congress was in session, from January 2011 through July 2012, the Republicans spent 38 of them attacking women’s rights.
