On September 11, 2001, the country watched in horror as two planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third into the Pentagon just outside Washington, DC, and a fourth driven into the ground in Shanksville, PA.

It’s not a day any of us will soon forget, and it irrevocably defined our policies, culture and history for the last eleven years – and undoubtedly into the future.
