When Cong. Some Republican spin-meisters have been pushing the notion that their "Young Gun" candidate, Adam Kinzinger, has the race locked up in the 11th congressional district of Illinois. Well, the numbers would beg to differ.

While Debbie has been leading the fight for health care reform and working to get the country's economy back on track, Kinzinger has been racking up right-wing endorsements in his bid to unseat her.

Election day is less than a week away, but the endorsements of EMILY’s List candidates keep pouring in. The Joliet Herald recently endorsed Cong. Debbie Halvorson, who represents the 11th district of Illinois, in her bid for reelection. The Herald, which covers the district’s largest town, praised Halvorson’s “hard work, experience and the ability to get things done in Washington.”

Cong. Debbie Halvorson (IL-11) will be honoring a number of small business owners this week. Halvorson believes that small businesses are essential to the economy of Illinois and that it is essential that government finds way to provide them with resources.
