The results are in for last night’s Missouri Senate primary. As Todd Akin starts his Tea Party victory lap, we cannot even begin to tell you how important this race is in keeping our Senate majority this November. Since elected in 2006, she’s worked to protect small businesses, close the wage gap, and expand access to family planning and quality healthcare.

Boy, the heat is on in Missouri. A new poll out today puts Robin Carnahan in a statistical dead heat with her GOP opponent in the open Senate seat. Robin's race joins a growing group of our candidates whose campaigns are neck-and-neck with Republicans. Many will be decided by just a few hundred votes -- all the more reason we have to fight until the finish line.
