WASHINGTON -- The 2008 WOMEN VOTE! program, a nationwide voter mobilization and education project of EMILY's List, will be reaching out to voters through the mail throughout the state of New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire WOMEN VOTE program hopes to reach more than 100,000 households throughout the state leading up to the election. The program has 3 principal targets:

It was a historic election night for EMILY's List candidates. EMILY's List helped defeat Republicans and elect more pro-choice Democratic women than in any year since 1992. EMILY's List candidates ousted two Republican senators in nasty, expensive races and won the two most competitive governors races in the country. We added at least 11 new Democratic women to the U.S. House, and possibly as many as 13.

WASHINGTON - The 2008 WOMEN VOTE! program, a nationwide voter mobilization and education project of EMILY's List, will be making a final push in a strong outreach campaign among New Hampshire voters. A team of approximately 50 EMILY's List staff and volunteers will travel to New Hampshire for a Get Out the Vote campaign for Jeanne Shaheen, Carol Shea-Porter and Barack Obama and John Lynch.
