GOPers urge Giuliani to run for Senate

Interesting news in the New York Senate race, where some GOPers are publicly pushing for former NYC Mayor (and presidential nominee) Rudy Giuliani to throw his hat in the ring.

EMILY's List candidate Kirsten Gillibrand was appointed to fill the seat of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in January. She's facing her first statewide election in 2010 to keep the seat in Democratic hands.

    When former Cong. Dina Titus was defeated after just one term in the Tea Party sweep of 2010, disappointed constituents and supporters lost an already-accomplished advocate for homeowners and consumers, for seniors, women, and the environment. But with the creation of an additional House seat in Nevada due to reapportionment, Dina hopes to return to Congress and continue fighting for families who “are still hurting and need someone who will do what’s right for them.”
