Cathleen Costello
Cathleen Costello joined EMILY’s List as a consultant to help build the Majority Council in Illinois. Costello is an accomplished leader and strategist with a track record of delivering results in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. She spent 18 years at American Express in a variety of roles, including senior vice president and general manager of corporate services. In 2002, she joined the Field Museum in Chicago where she helped increase visitor revenue by 49 percent. She is actively involved in community organizations, particularly those focused on the needs of women and children. Cathleen Costello has been an EMILY’s List Majority Council member in the Chicago area since 1996.

Judy Loeb Goldfein
Motivated to enter politics by the Thomas/Hill hearings of 1991, Judy Loeb Goldfein has served as director of the EMILY’s List Majority Council for the northeast for 15 years. She came to EMILY’S List after a successful
career in fashion design, where she founded and served as president of Sweet Mama Ltd., a manufacturer of fashion-forward maternity clothing, which she built into a major national brand. Loeb Goldfein previously
chaired the board of Women In Need, a New York based non-profit organization which serves homeless and under-privileged families, she still serves on the board on which she has served for the last 21 years.
Shellie Sachs Levin
Shellie Sachs Levin serves as director of the Majority Council for the southeastern states. For ten years, Levin has worked with Majority Council members and identified new EMILY’s List supporters. She has also recruited candidates throughout Florida and helped many women develop campaign plans. A community leader, she has served on the National Women’s Reproductive Health Care advisory board, the Women’s Chamber of Commerce for Miami-Dade County, the Miami-Dade County Commission on the Status of Women, and the Women’s Emergency Network.

Anna Lidman
Since 2003, Anna Lidman has served as director of the Majority Council in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. An experienced campaign fundraiser and consultant, Lidman has collectively raised more than $14 million for Democratic causes and candidates, including former Texas Gov. Ann Richards, President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, and Sen. Hillary Clinton. Anna serves on the board of Emerge Maine -- an organization which recruits and trains Democratic women to run for public office. A native of Iowa, Lidman is based in Portland, Maine.
Patricia Williams
Patricia Williams is the director of the Majority Council with responsibility for working with major donors in the Western United States. She began working for EMILY’s List in 1996. Prior to joining EMILY’S List, Patricia
worked in a variety of capacities as a teacher, social worker, politician, and consultant. She taught school for 12 years, directed a social service program, provided grief counseling, served on the board of directors of
several nonprofit foundations, and consulted to a major private family foundation in the area of youth and families. In addition, she was the Chairman of the Planning Commission of Portola Valley, and was elected to the Town Council where she served a term as Mayor.
