Winning takes commitment!

Each Majority Council member makes an annual contribution of $1,000, $2,500, or more to EMILY's List in addition to fulfilling their commitment to give $100 or more to at least two recommended candidates.

EMILY's List, in turn, keeps Majority Council members in close contact with the activities and candidates you support.

You will receive all the information you need about the courageous pro-choice Democratic women candidates you are helping to elect. . . about the political atmosphere in which they are running. . . and about the issues they will confront as senators, representatives, and governors.

Naturally, you will receive all the regular benefits of EMILY's List membership, including our newsletter, Notes From EMILY, campaign assessments and detailed candidate profiles, and "Insider News" bulletins via e-mail.

In addition, as a Majority Council member, you will receive copies of EMILY's List research and political reports. You will receive confidential monthly political memos from Ellen R. Malcolm, president of EMILY's List, describing how your support as a Majority Council member is helping pro-choice Democratic women win elections.

And you will have opportunities to meet candidates, elected officials, and other Majority Council members at EMILY's List events in Washington and around the country including the annual Majority Council Conference.

The Majority Council Conference

Each spring, Majority Council members gather in Washington, D.C., for a conference that has become the highlight of the political season, bringing together powerful political players from around the country. The Majority Council Conference gives you the chance to meet EMILY's List recommended candidates and the pro-choice Democratic women you've helped become U.S. representatives, senators, and state governors.

The conference includes workshops and presentations by leading political insiders -- nationally known pollsters, strategists, advisors, and consultants who have multiple Democratic victories to their credit. This inspiring event gives you the closest possible view of how your Majority Council investment is changing the face of government in America.
