Statement Against GOP’s Appalling Anti-Woman Agenda WASHINGTON D.C. -- Speaker Boehner and House Republicans are preparing to vote on their continuing resolution to fund the federal government, which includes attempts to drastically restrict access to health care services and facilities for millions of Americans by defunding Title X services. Tonight's resolution is just one in a slew of Republican bills proposed that would severely restrict women's access to a full array of preventative health care, birth control, and family planning services.

Today, EMILY's List sent the statement below to the more than 600,000 members of their on-line community, urging them to take action against John Boehner and the GOP's radical anti-woman agenda, this week typified by the attempt to redefine rape to exclude assaults involving drugs, coercion, loss of consciousness, and statutory rape.
