Would Be Second Female San Francisco DA and First Iranian-American DA In History WASHINGTON, D.C. --EMILY's List, the nation's largest resource for women in politics, today announced its endorsement of Sharmin Bock for San Francisco District Attorney. WASHINGTON – Yesterday afternoon, Rep. Allen West emailed a sexist, hateful tirade to Republican leaders in which he called Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz “vile,” and “despicable,” told her to “shut the heck up,” accused her of not being “a lady,” and said she was therefore undeserving of his respect. Almost 24 hours later, there has been complete silence from the Republican Party. Not a single member or leader has condemned Rep. West’s sexist attack on his colleague.
