WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today the Republican Party platform committee will vote to adopt a platform calling for a constitutional ban on abortion, making no exception for cases of rape and incest. WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today EMILY’s List WOMEN VOTE! released a television ad to educate voters in Wisconsin about Republican Senate candidate Tommy Thompson’s record as a D.C. insider more beholden to corporate interests than Wisconsin families. The $650,000 buy will air from August 17th through August 26th on broadcast and cable television in Milwaukee, LaCrosse, Wausau and Green Bay. The buy includes a strong online component showing the 30-second ad in pre-roll, targeting swing voters statewide.
