EMILY’s List Denounces House Republicans For Latest Abortion Ban: Passes Judiciary Committee Exclusively With Support From Male Republicans
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee passed a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks for women across the country, without exceptions for rape, incest, or health of the pregnant woman. The Judiciary Committee is comprised of 34 men and five women, and every woman who serves on the committee is a Democrat.
