WASHINGTON, D.C. — The following is a statement from Ellen R. Malcolm, president of EMILY's List, on the Iowa Caucus.
“Last night was only the first step in a history making presidential campaign for Senator Hillary Clinton and the country. We saw unprecedented turn-out, record breaking participation by women, and so many new people entering the process with a desire for change. We are proud to have been there every step of the way and remain confident that when all the Democrats have had their say, Hillary Clinton will emerge as the nominee. We look forward to the next step in New Hampshire and continuing on the path to victory.”
