But just hours later, a hearing on H.R. 3 will begin during which Republicans will debate denying women access to vital health care services and facilities.

Over the last couple months, we've seen again that when left to their own devices, Republican men will attack the programs American women rely on to take care of themselves and their families. Whether it makes fiscal sense or not. This afternoon, we saw women fight back. The Democratic women in the Senate said that they would stand in between American women and the radical anti-woman agenda put forward by John Boehner and House Republicans.

Today, EMILY's List President Stephanie Schriock released the results of a post-election poll that will help Democrats re-capture women, re-elect President Obama and win in 2012. Taken by the Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group on behalf of EMILY's List WOMEN VOTE!, the survey focused on women voters who voted for President Obama in 2008, but either stayed home or defected to the GOP or third parties during the 2010 mid-terms.
