House Majority Leader Hoyer lauds Jennings’s economic platform
Running for the U.S. House in Florida’s thirteenth congressional district, Christine Jennings received support from both House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and former Florida Sen. Bob Graham over recent weeks. Hoyer praised Jennings’s banking experience in a press conference addressing the foreclosure crisis that has greatly affected the district. Jennings also noted her support of several housing-related policies recently passed by the House, including legislation aimed at providing loans and grants so states can rehabilitate vacant foreclosed homes.
