Hagan within striking distance of Dole in North Carolina
Recent statewide polls have revealed that EMILY’s List candidate state Sen. Kay Hagan is within single digits of Republican incumbent Sen. Elizabeth Dole. Currently, Dole only leads by 5 points -- 48 percent to Hagan’s 43 percent -- a remarkable feat for any challenger this early in the election cycle.
