Napolitano vetoes restrictive abortion bill
In an effort to protect “the relationship between a woman and her physician,” Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano vetoed a late-term abortion ban earlier this week. Napolitano, who was endorsed by EMILY’s List in her run for the state’s top executive position in 2006, also vetoed an earlier version of the bill.
