The Washington Post writes, "Don't know her? Sewell, who won her seat in November with more than 70% of the vote, is the first African-American woman elected to congress from Alabama, the only Democrat currently serving from the state, and president of this year's tiny Democratic freshman class. Watching last week's game, I was reminded of just how hard our women work -- on and off the floor. These ladies took time from their busy schedule, time away from their families, to support a great cause. The annual game benefits the Young Survival Coalition, a breast cancer charity. This year the Women Members took on the ladies of the DC press corps, with a special appearance by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who threw out the first pitch.
