OK, this one made me chuckle... and then roll my eyes. New Rep.-elect Andy Harris (R-MD) was quite perturbed when he learned his health care benefits won’t kick in for 28 days after he is sworn in to office. Harris was so distraught over the idea that he asked if he could purchase a plan to protect him during the brief lapse. All of this after running on an anti-health care reform platform and vowing to repeal the policy.
