If Sarah Palin had a Mini Me, I'd like to think it'd be GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann (MN-06). And I don't think I'm the only one.
But despite their similarities, Palin differs in one key way: she's no longer in office. Luckily (for Bachmann), that doesn't mean Palin's GOP influence is waning.

One Republican, speaking metaphorically, has articulated what many suspect has been fueling much of the town hall rage: the GOP needs a "great white hope" to lead the party out of the darkness and into the light. Seeking to reassure a conservative crowd, Kansas GOP Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins went on to say that there are several promising young Republicans in Congress who could do the job. Like her, all are white.

And while I'm glad bloggers are there to report first-hand about the wild antics they're seeing, I have to admit I also love reading something positive about town halls whenever I'm lucky enough to find something.

Vincent David Jericho is pretty fed up with Roy Blunt. Apparently, Michael Steele might be too.
Jericho, the host of a conservative Missouri radio talk show, recently interviewed Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, and the two got to talking about the Republican Senate candidate Roy Blunt, who will likely face off with EMILY's List candidate and current secretary of state, Robin Carnahan.
