Not so forgiving facts on Fiorina

If you haven't seen it already, there was lots of chatter over the past week about this ad showing the real record behind the corporate failures of Republican CA-Sen nominee, Carly Fiorina. The producers compiled information on what it’s like working with Fiorina from those who have seen her in action, the New York Times, and Fortune Magazine.

As the ad makes clear, the choice in this race couldn't be starker. In our corner, we have Senator Barbara Boxer, a true progressive and champion of women's issues.  And in the opposing corner is Carly Fiorina, the failed Hewlett-Packard CEO whose right-wing ties helped her win endorsements from Sarah Palin and the anti-choice Susan B. Anthony List -- and secure the party’s nomination. Fiorina cut worker's salaries by $130 million while taking $90 million home with her. And in 2003, as many CEO's nationally took pay cuts -- Fiorina decided to give herself a 231% raise.

Combining her own personal fortune -- including the $21 million golden parachute she received when she was fired from HP -- with the tough national political climate, Fiorina will undoubtedly pose a formidable challenge. That is why EMILY's List and its members are doubling-down on this race to ensure Barbara has the resources to show California voters just what their choices are. Join us at womenforboxer.com and help ensure Barbara stays where she belongs: in the Senate.

If you haven't watched the ad yet, I'm sure that you'll learn something from this short spot. It pretty much says it all.
