First-time Cong. Mary Jo Kilroy hasn’t let her freshman status prevent her from making major changes for the people of Ohio’s 15th district. Mary Jo was a recognized leader during the health care reform debates, and now she’s turning her sights to revitalizing Ohio’s economy.
This weekend Mary Jo gathered leaders from the state’s business, academic, and government communities to form a well-rounded approach on how to keep Ohio’s economy moving forward.
This particular meeting, the second in a series Mary Jo is organizing, focused on bioscience, an industry that represents 50,000 jobs across the state.
“Working with our area small and large businesses and universities we must work for continued opportunities that will make our economy thrive. By creating a climate where biosciences can flourish, we will move our economy forward,” she said.
