This weekend, EMILY’s List President Stephanie Schriock stopped by Melissa Harris-Perry on MSNBC to talk about getting more women to run for Congress. She was joined by an all-star panel: Congresswoman Barbara Lee, former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, Professor Anthea Butler and EMILY’s List candidate, Kyrsten Sinema.

Melissa prefaced the segment by asking, “If women make up 51% of the US population and are 56% of all voters why, then, do we have such an imbalance in Congress?”

In case you missed it, watch the segment here. You’ll see why Congresswoman Barbara Lee declared, “Thank God for EMILY’s List”
