Granholm discusses roles as mom, governor

Our elected women do plenty of juggling. Between work and home, it's remarkable how much our women in office manage to accomplish.

There was a great piece on the Today show earlier, giving an inside glimpse of the life of one of the women we helped elect, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm. Now in her second term, Granholm has been a high profile state executive on the national front, leading her state through tough economic times.

It's inspiring to hear how she balances her commitment to the people of Michigan and the challenges of being a working mom. There are also some fascinating insights -- especially from Granholm's husband, Daniel Mulhern -- about changing views regarding traditionally accepted roles for women and men.
