GOP backs Palin's pick in CA-Sen, Boxer prepares for tough battle

Our president, Stephanie Schriock, just sounded the alarm about CA-Sen for the EMILY's List community, and I wanted to make sure you saw her message.
WIth the GOP uniting behind anti-choice poster child -- and Sarah Palin-endorsed candidate -- Carly Fiorina, we're going to have to give it everything we've got to fight off the right wing and keep Barbara Boxer where she belongs: in the Senate!
Click here to stand with Barbara today!
Here's a note from Stephanie's message:
"Barbara Boxer’s got her opponent – and we’ve got our work cut out for us."
"I’m on the ground in California right now, and I can tell you this: The energy among Barbara’s supporters is awesome. But with the right-wing responding to Sarah Palin’s rallying cry for the GOP’s newly endorsed candidate, Carly Fiorina, the pace in this campaign is about to take off. Fiorina’s got the GOP establishment, the anti-choice Susan B. Anthony List, and the Tea Partiers in her corner. But Barbara has us. We must act now to show Barbara we’re standing with her through the finish line."
Stephanie pointed out that Fiorina is already going on the attack against Barbara -- no great shock, since she'd been lobbing attacks on TV at Barbara before she even won the party endorsement. Already, choice is becoming a top issue in this race, and we can't afford to lose Barbara's leadership on women's rights in the Senate.
Fiorina's got a war chest filled with money from the $21-million golden parachute she received after being fired from her job at HP. We've got to help Barbara fill her campaign coffers now and make sure she's ready to fight back!
