Election Night Update: The results are in! Terri won the run-off in AL-07 and is on her way to making history. She is now poised to become the first African American Congresswoman elected from Alabama.

The Associated Press has called AL-07 for Terri Sewell.

  • Terri Sewell: -- 55%
  • Shelia Smoot: -- 45%

With 94% precincts reporting, Terri Sewell has been named the winner of tonight's run-off race.
