Halvorson honors small business owners

Cong. Debbie Halvorson (IL-11) will be honoring a number of small business owners this week. Halvorson believes that small businesses are essential to the economy of Illinois and that it is essential that government finds way to provide them with resources.

Halvorson has worked hard to implement reforms that would aid small businesses. Expressing her strong belief in small business she said, “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and if we are going to continue down the path of recovery from the recession, we must provide our small business owners the resources they need to grow and create jobs." Her work thus far has helped many businesses sustain during hard economic times.

By taking time out to honor small businesses, Halvorson is sending a much deserved "thank you" to the people have helped to foster the creation of jobs and keep the economy afloat.

Halvorson's work on helping small business is just one of the very few ways she has helped Illinois residents since her election. We are very proud to be part of her team in her reelection race!
