Betty Sutton on protecting American jobs

By Shannon Rice on
January 31, 2012

We've watched proudly as Rep. Betty Sutton has fought to protect the jobs of women and families across Ohio. Just yesterday, she talked with MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan about The American Jobs First Initiative, comprised of three pieces of legislation she's advocated strongly for in the House.

Betty represents the steel region of Northeast Ohio – an area where women and families have been particularly hard hit by the recession. The American Jobs First Initiative is designed to keep manufacturing jobs in America, protecting the pocketbooks of working families throughout Ohio.

We're thrilled by Betty's ongoing commitment to her home state and are right with her as she runs for re-election in Ohio's newly-drawn 16th congressional district.

Watch the entire interview below and learn more about Betty's race here.
