Announcing: "On the List"

EMILY’s List has always been dedicated to electing pro-choice Democratic women to office. To that end, we’re rolling out a new feature called “On the List” to do just that: help elect more pro-choice, Democratic women. So what exactly does it mean to be “On the List”? Essentially, we want to be able to highlight the candidacy of promising women as early as we can, and this helps us give support in a new way. We apply tough viability standards to these candidates, as we do with all of our candidates. Most of all, our inaugural group of women to be “On the List” speaks to the caliber of talent that we’re backing in this new way: Lois Frankel, Ann Kirkpatrick, Ann McLane Kuster, and Christie Vilsack. We’ll keep you posted as more candidates are added to this strong initial group, and we’re thrilled that we can do even more for our mission of electing pro-choice Democratic women.
