Alex Sink: "The anti-Sarah Palin"

Florida's CFO Alex Sink is running for governor, and as this post from the Reid Report describes, she couldn't be more different from Sarah Palin -- in all the right ways.

No caustic statements or divisive messages shouted from a soapbox here: Alex Sink is on the ground, engaging women voters and voters of color, fighting for fiscal responsibility in a state notorious for excesses, and looking out for the small businesspeople affected by the Gulf oil spill. Drill, baby, drill? No thanks! Alex has already called for a special legislative session on possibly banning offshore drilling.

Floridians sick of their state's Republican party antics will have a lot to like about Alex, who is dedicated to government accountability and maintains a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Word is getting out about Alex's strength and viability as a candidate, and we're right there with her.
