Michele Bachmann doesn't speak for me either

Here we go ladies and gentlemen; the fight for Minnesota's sixth congressional district is officially on. Michele Bachmann, the champion of the Tea Party Caucus, defender of the radical right, and leader of all things anti-choice has released her first ad attacking EMILY's List-endorsed candidate Tarryl Clark. It is no surprise that the ad targets fiscally responsible, results-focused Tarryl, and promises more attack ads "coming soon."

As Tarryl's campaign stated in response to the ad, "Tarryl Clark consistently voted to hold down taxes on 95% of working Minnesotans, including reducing the burden of property taxes." Tarryl has focused on real solutions for Minnesotans while Bachmann has spent her time on FOX News and at tea party rallies.

Clark and Bachmann represent a perfect example of the differences we've been talking about in our Sarah Doesn't Speak for Me campaign, an opportunity to give a platform to the thousands of American who believe that Sarah Palin and her endorsed candidates don't speak for them or the issues they care about.

In the sixth district we have EMILY's List-supported Tarryl Clark vs. Sarah Palin-backed Michele Bachmann. The contrast and the choice could not be clearer for voters. While Tarryl is out in the district talking to voters about creating jobs and providing affordable healthcare for families, Bachmann has instead represented the "Party of NO" with gusto. She has even said that "we must slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing" – this "thing" being stopping healthcare reform. Bachmann's radical agenda and forceful opposition to supporting a woman's right to choose is, simply put, hazardous to Minnesotans and could set our country back decades.

Now that the race has truly began and the attack ads are in full force, lets show Michele and Sarah that they don't speak for us, by helping send Tarryl Clark to Congress.
