EMILY’s List: Strength in Numbers Inauguration Brunch, January 20th, 2013, Washington, DC
EMILY's List had a lot to celebrate on Inauguration weekend. Our membership quintupled over the last cycle and with the help of our amazing community, we raised $52 million. We elected 19 new women to the ouse, 6 Senate incumbents, 3 new Senators (all the first woman to represent their state in the Senate), and the only pro-choice Democratic woman governor in the country.
