We urge you to appoint a woman to the Supreme Court vacancy created by the retirement of Justice David Souter.
As Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg recently told law students, women justices bring life experiences that men can't. Adding another woman justice would help ensure that women's rights are protected and that their perspectives continue to play a role in the top court in the land. By nominating a woman, the court will be one step closer to reflecting the diversity that makes our country great.
As you know, the rights of women to protect and make decisions about their reproductive health are under constant attack. We urge you to choose a nominee who supports the constitutional right of privacy and the rights of women to make their own personal decisions about their reproductive health.
